Myofibs were "nerfed" because the stacking penalty didn't apply properly
CPU upgrades were "nerfed" because they weren't consistent with vehicle modules
One does not simply "fix lag", and it's definitlely not game breaking because I have terrible internet connection and no lag
Matchmaking is much better, the deployment issue is obviously linked to the servers going down, and I guarantee you CCP is throwing everything they can at fixing it. Why? Because eve is on those servers as well.
What the **** do you mean apex suit changes were unintended? Adding SKINs and other modules to apex suits was completely intended: it just needs to be polished, but requires a major update to do so.
Your ******, childish feature getting "squashed" was a good thing. Now real tactics, as well as strategic use of myofibril stims, are more prominent again.

DDx77 wrote:They took a wait and see approach with myofibs. Going any further with this "nerf" would be pointless. They can keep it as is now with a max of three - especially if as they claim when the stacking penalties are applied it would be the same effect. Now leave the cool feature alone.
CPU mods were nerfed " just because" there was no parallel with vehicles mentioned. A pointless time wasting nerf
Matchmake.........are you playing the same game? The fix did not change anything except for creating much more boring battles (uneven player counts lead to stomps and there are even matches just like before) also the removal of "team" chat keeps you from joining a squad in the match -how is that helpful?
Apex suits were always Proto suits with basics mods. Mostly to incentivise new players on leveling up. Modifying items has been a long requested feature. Why are we adding skins tho? Both these ideas aren't bad, my point is time and resource management. Now they need to keep tabs on apex fits so they don't get out of hand and figure out stacking penalties, while adding new content and features? - Have they hired more help? This is why it's one extreme to the next, their work load must be crazy. Myofibs balanced themselves out, this Apex thing is kinda cool but not necessary and I'd much rather be trading bpo's or moving forward to the next NEW idea
I have been playing other maps that have started to have the awful Gallente black hole facility lag. But sure we can pretend there's nothing to see there
I can only assume by childish tactics you are referring to the MD jumping assault? And again, not that difficult to take down. Even if they figure out the stacking penalties, that tactic is not going away. It actually going to be worse when realize that jumper is harder to hit cuz he's not floating and as he falls he didnt take any fall damage as he strafes you to death. Be careful what you wish for
What prominent "real" tactics are we going back to that never left? The current "nerf" was simply a placeholder, and will be removed once the stacking penalty is properly fixed, so they won't be going any further with it.
Matchmaking is definitely better; the only issue is that CCP listened to players and stopped throwing them in lost battles. I'm getting a LOT of very close battles with the new matchmaker, and it's amazing. I agree teamchat needs to be brought back, but I can see why they did it: trying to cut back on lag. Team chat was deemed "unnecessary bandwidth", I guess.
Apex fits have always been a bit controversal, and I don't like them myself. However, if there was a team (or at this point, a person calling themself a team) with nothing better to do, why not? Developers aren't jacks-of-all-trades, they're specialized. If the person watching balance has free time to tweak, why not? Poking at stats seems like the easiest, least time-consuming job someone could have in development.
I believe you're mistaking framerate issues for lag. Framerate issues are just your PS3 going to ****, not a server-side issue. CCP is actively working on solving that. And by solving that, I mean moving to PC.
As for myofibs changing tactics, there are 2 main things I'm talking about: Cover was just about meaningless against them, because they can just boost themselves up to fire. This also caused arc weapons to require less skill. Vertical combat on some maps was ruined. The train map was actually great before myofibs: whichever team controlled the top of the storage depot could take control of the ledges inside. Whichever team controlled the ledges inside could control the ground level, and the objective there. In a domination battle, a team could control 2 of those levels, but not all 3. With myofibs, the top level was completely unnecessary because it was so easy just to jump there.
Should myofib users be able to reach places other suits can? Yes, but it shouldn't be that easy. I didn't spend 2 and a half years getting better at hippity-hopping different series ledges in scout suits just for it to be ruined by 1 asshat making a single jump from the ground.
